Jag 1999 Hyundai Accent Alaska 1341 UKHAC Member Offline UKHAC member Posts: 37 Reputation: 1 Doncaster	X3 White Dials Jul 29^th, 2010 at 3:25pm Hi Guys, Does anybody know where I could get a set of white dials for my X3. As far as I know the clocks are the same as the ones in a MVI.

its very simple mate
1st unscrew the plastic trim under column stering that is tightenerd by 4 bolts 10mm socket required 2nd unsrew the plastic trim around the stering that has 3 screw under it than unscrew the serounding plastic trim of the dials that 4 screws and finally another 4 screws to get out the dials and replace builbs and your done reapeat the guide to close the things again

My 99 Alaska dials are different to yours as I have a rev counter as well. As I am colour coding my interior white to match the outside I would like a full white dial set. But if I can't get one the idea of bright white bulbs like yours looks good, where did you get them from? Cheers, Jag

I only recommended changing the bulbs as getting new dials has proven to be very difficult for me. The only dials I've found are from abroad and £150. I'd also have to pay customs tax to get them here. So it's alot of hassle just for a different coloured dial.
The dials are on ebay. "Plasme dials" or "glow dials". They have a white face but light up blue and red at night.

Does anyone know the costs to get either of those to england? As I'm very interested in the same dials.

Those are the exact dials I had found before. But they were much more expensive. Glad i didn't buy them.
According to HM Revenue people you're allowed to bring in items for free as long as it's less than £390 or so. (And not alcohol or tobacco). Is this true?
