UKHAC Fuel Economy Thread
Jul 23rd, 2010 at 5:39pm

Due to the original fuel economy thread being deleted (by accident), I have created a new one for the UKHAC members based on a poll I posted elsewhere.

Using a website called "Fuelly", you can create an account and save all your fuel uplifts, which will give you an idea as to what MPG you are getting ... here is the link: Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

How to use Fuelly...
  • After you have registered and logged in please goto "your garage" ... on the left hand side and click on your car (i.e Hyundai Accent);
  • Next goto the bottom left of that page and click on "Get your own Fuelly badge" (it's hidden quite subtly, so have a good look);
  • On the top of that page click on the drop-down menu that says "L/100km" and change that to "UK MPG",
  • After this, copy and paste the link in the top box saying: "To include the banner image in a forum signature, copy and paste the following BBCode"  and paste it into this thread as a post along with any modifications to your Engine/exhaust.
  • The code should look something like this...
    Code:
    [URL=http://www.fuelly.com/driver/myscreenname/mycar][IMG]http://www.fuelly.com/sig-metric/123245.png[/IMG][/URL]

    (This is an example code so it won't work, but that's what it should look like).
  • After you've posted the code, state what engine and exhaust modifications you have.

I think that's about all you need to know, but if you need any help just ask! Wink

It takes 8,460 bolts to assemble an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the road.

Have you got any engine mods on them?

Would everyone please specify weather you have any engine mods, if so list them, if not just state no mods, just makes it easier and faster to post them up Wink

I have added 2 new sections for members that used to have accents or members with other cars, that are either another Hyundai model or from a different manufacturer all together.

You can track it in whatever units you like. So long as they're official units.

Accents: Good looking cars. But try and buy parts for them and you either get ripped off or it doesn't work! :@
