thanks mate

to be honest, it doesnt have any major issues for me to get another, its got 83k on the clock and still runs great, the car just needs some rust work and new window regulators and some alloys and body buff to get some scratches out and its as good as new Smiley

well i,m originally from london and now and then i make the trip down, are you far from there?

have you worked on similar prroblem before?

i was told that i maybe needs to be cut out and fabricate metal for it or use fibre glass which is more temporary?

im 30 miles west of london.

you need to completely remove the existing rust so cut it , rub it down till you have clean metal.

then you want to get some mesh

attatch that to the rear of the panel you are doing, using  a bit of fibregalss.
make sure its tight obviously.

you then use bodyfiller on the outside of the car, build up your layers. once its dry smooth it off and then prime and paint

thanks mate, let me know how much notice you need and what week or month is best?

also the things i really wanna do in terms of painting and rust work to the car:

- remove all rust and paint the hubs and discs on all wheel. - (once i get the alloys and nuts needed and i,m sure i can do that, but may need some tips)
- remove rust and paint window pillar (as shown on the third pic)  - (same here)
- and that major rust on wheel arches - which i cant do and is where your magic comes in Smiley

what material do i need?

pls let me know how much you wanting for your work?

and how long you reckon it would take us to do all that work?

thanks mate

to be honest with you mate any time between 1st august and september , would need at least a weeks notice.
as for materials there is a halfords near me, as before i could quote you on what you would need i would need to see the car to ascertain exactly what conditions parts are in.

as for helping you, make me an offer as to how much you a willing to pay.

to be sure of a decent job i would say a weekend, you could stay at mine during that time , thats not a problem.

thanks a lot mate

i think a pint is in order as well if thats the case Smiley and will giv you plenty of notice

September sounds good to me as i,m working on my masters dissertation at the moment and its a pain.

yep sounds good to me, and i think is a good idea to have a look before we get the parts.

well mate my funds are really limited since that i,m not working but id rather not say anything not reasonable, so let me know what you think please.

and thank you so much for offering me your place to stay while we do this.

by the way this is another stupid question, have you got Jack, Axle stands or would you like me to arrange those?
